Mossberg 930 - Price I can expect

Looking to pick up my first shotgun around christmas time hopefully, primarily to crack clays, and I think I've decided on the 930. I'd really like to keep it under 500, everything (transfer/tax) accounted for, but I haven't been able to see too many used on the market and was mostly wondering if this seemed like a reasonable deal range to keep an eye out for, or if I should change my expectations.

$500 is right in the ballbark for a new one (synthetic field model). I haven't seen many used ones on the market.

Thank y'all Sorry if I'm seeming lazy, just don't feel like I'll have time to go looking seriously anytime soon, and I wanted to feel like I have a workable plan. If there are any recommendations for a superior gun for clay in that price range though, I'm all ears!
