I found one of these AR-style 12 ga shotguns for sale locally, seemed like a steal. Can't seem to find any other info on the thing anywhere else on the net. Anyone owned one? Reviews? Source? Availability of parts/magazines?

Thanks!

First I've ever heard of it and there is nothing listed by that name on Mossberg.com
They did come out with an AR styled ... ummmmm...AR, called the MMR.

There's a listing for a "KPR" on Armslist, but it's kind of iffy as it is Tagged as: "DPMS 223/5.56 NATO Semi-automatic Shotgun LE 18-in. barrel with pressure/snap switch 6 volt tactical surefire fore-end cylinder bore in 3" holds 6 rounds $375obo."

The picture shows an M4 cut barrel, there is no way on the god's green earth that a 12-gauge is going down that barrel.

That's the one I'm talking about--he had it down in Springfield, MO. Of course, it already sold.

Quote from the owner:

"they only made it till 1976. Model AB special purpose...."

Only AB I've found so far, of course, is the 500AB. But that's just your standard pump-action tube-fed 12.
