A while back I bought a little .22 Mossberg&Sons 151M-B at a pawn shop and scoped it. It's one of the only rifles in my collection I haven't gotten around to shooting, and I was wondering if anyone on here knows a lot(or anything really) about them. I got it for next to nothing, and I plan to try it out this weekend.

It's a beauty of a little rifle with a very nicely grained stock....I'll get some pics up if I can.

Buy some .22 cal barrel cleaner and be sure you have a good clean barrel first. I had the 151m many years ago and wish I would have kept it. That was a heck of a shooter. Great .22 rifle. Never gave me any problems. If you find you need something for it or just want to stock up on maybe a new fireing pin and some springs check out Bob's gunparts. He tends to have looks of odd and old gun parts. Good idea to get the thing that might break or wear out as that 151 could be a good one to hang on to. Kinda cool to see the long stock version. Get a desent scope and see what it can do with better ammo.
