Today I went out to test a couple loads in my GP100. I'm testing low powered target loads and I think I might have found the sweet spot......as you can tell from the target both the loads are shooting pretty darn good. But that 158 grain powerbond propelled by Bullseye was outstanding. I've got 500 or so of these bullets to load up so I can stock up on ammo for the summer.
Anyone else run similar tests? I don't load up many at first. Gotta make sure they work. Then the marathon loading session begins. But I tell ya what, that Dillon 550b can make short work of a bunch of empty brass so it's not all drudgery.
I shot horrible with my Super Blackhawk! Just wasn't feeling it I guess. It's a good thing that I didn't bring the 310 grain cast loads along! I did get to fire my recently acquired RM380 which shot minute of water bottle at 15 yards so I was pretty happy with that. The RM380 is very underrated. It has functioned flawlessly for me over hundreds of rounds of various ammo....but that will be a thread of its own....
