Sorry to disappoint you.

CZ stands for "ChatZilla", which is the Mozilla IRC client.

It's part of the Status Bar. You have to have that turned on (View, Show/Hide, Status Bar). And yes, it does show up there in 1.5 as that's the version I am currently using to post this.

Got it on 1.4

Hey, think they'll have a version 1.9.1.1?

It would work great out of the box but be endlessly customizable.

:D

Opera blows. It's all about 'Zilla 1.5...

And yes, I know it ment Chatzilla... I just thought it amusing.

OK you two. Quick before this gets closed.

Good and bad about Opera, I haven't looked since beta 1 back on in the Win 95 days.

Zilla 1.5 is out? Do tell. I just installed 1.4 a couple of months ago. Any major improvements?

Try typing the following into the address bar on mozilla, mildly amusing.

  :D :D

Thanks Gaston. I love geek tricks like that.

I'm running it on doze and linux. Lots of bug fixes on the linux side in 1.5.

I wish I had more time to play with my PCs. I would love to spend some quality time with a nice distro and really get good with Linux. I'm still on 'doze 2K. I couldn't bring myself to upgrade to XP.

I love programmers with a sense of humor. (Rather than a sense of "I know what's best for you!", like those folks in Redmond.)

Interesting. They've changed the verbage (nerd alert!). It looks like it's referring to the new Firebird browser (also based on the Mozilla project, and quite impressive in it's own right).

Rumor hath it that once Firebird and Thunderbird reach 1.0 status all development on the older Mozilla project will cease.

The only I can link this to firearms is to say that Mozilla is a great tool for viewing The High Road, AR15.com, gunbroker.com, and all the other wonderful gun sites on the web. More importantly I don't have to deal with :cuss: popups. Every time I'm forced to use IE without some third-party popup blocker installed I'm reminded of just how annoying the web can be without this function. All hail Mozilla and Spamassassin!

to use a bit of ar15.com verbage here:

um....Avantbrowser is a cool mod for IE that makes it much more...modern. I was using Opera but was getting frustrated with the inconsistant java support. Avant basically turns IE into Opera, but it's still IE so everything works. It blocks the popups, opens window inside the browser instead of filling up your task bar, has mucho better security options, etc.

My linux box doesn't get much websurfing action because it's got an old 14" monitor. But, when it does Mozillia all the way! (need to download the Opera linux version for it...)
