Listening to the Fox news tonight brought forth a short commentary indicating that some MN House members has been threatened to pass the new CCW law .
Fox news reported that some references were made to knowing where family lives or some such thing as part of the threats.
Since it has always been clear to anyone here that the House was never an obstical in passage of the Minnesota Personal Protection Act, It has me wondering. Who would make such a threat ?
Anyone who knows enough to contact a member of the House should know that the problems we have had for several years was getting it through the Senate . With the senate passage friday of the bill , the return of a right to carry law became virtualy a sure thing . So why would anybody make a threat to any House member indicating they should pass this bill or else ?
1st I asked myself what was this threat and how seriously was it made - Fox news was vague on details but did mention something about it was not considered all that serious and that no added security was planned . In that case, why was it even newsworthy ? And, who I thought would gain the most by making such a threat ? Is it possible that someone in apposition to this bill passing could have anything to do with this "news" story ?
