MS 2nd Congressional District Primary

On June 6, Mississippi will hold mid-term primary elections for Congress. Incumbent Democrat Bennie Thompson is challenged by Democrat Chuck Espy for Mississippi's second district seat. Bennie is extremely anti-gun. Chuck is pretty much pro-gun, from what I can tell. Mississippi has open primaries, meaning any second district voter, not just registered Democrats, can vote in this primary. The primary winner will face a Republican who has little name recognition, and IMHO cannot win. Therefore, this primary is our best chance to beat Bennie. If you live in Mississippi's second congressional district, please vote on June 6.

Thanks for the heads up. I don't live in the 2nd, but have property there. I guess I'll do a little research on Espy and consider a donation. My family used to like Mike Espy very much, and they were very conservative Repubs.
