So let's get this on-topic. Those among us who don't watch a lot of TV news want to know about "one person with a gun can make a difference" guy. What's his stance?

This could be the start of a Very Big Deal, and I think that guy needs a letter of support.

The shoe is called Morning Joe, with host Joe Scarborough (the guns make a difference guy). I don't know if he still has it, but he had/has a show called Scarborough Country too.

While I think she's - at best - willfully blind to any possible positive aspect of guns, I don't think this is why she walked off the set. I believe she walked off the set because of a story about Paris Hilton. Back in June, she refused to do a Paris Hilton story; the context of this appeared to be another story on Paris Hilton and thus, Brzezinski walked off set.

I'd be happy to be wrong, though - there's little context to this YouTube clip.

Actually, I think she was walking off the set to protest the Paris Hilton news stories. There's another vid showing her setting fire to the text of a Paris Hilton news bit. Personally I'd have to agree with her on that point. But their program seems more like news theater than actual news presentation, and I'd be flicking the channels on them, too, if I had a television + cable.

Joe isn't that good on gun issues

maybe better then Rudy but thats not saying much.

I was watching the show when the gun thing came up and he was interrupting her as she was trying to read the news with her anti gun slant.

It seemed a little staged.

But as far as the Paris Hilton stuff, I agree that stuff about Paris Hilton and Britney Spears doesn't belong on the news, neither does sports or movie reviews.

Too bad, more people watched those YouTube clips than actually watched the show on TV. People will reject the media more as it slants left more, and MSNBC is the prime example. Now if you'll go excuse me I'm gonna go get my daily dose of propaganda from Fox News, at least it tries to be fair.
