multi caliber rifle?

my girlfriend told me she saw one that shot 12g, 270, and i think 22. she may have been wrong on exact calibers, but she was sure that it shot shotgun, as well as a good deer caliber, and a smaller practice type caliber. remington i think. sorry i cant provide more info, but i never saw the gun. does anyone know what she is talkin about? she wants one and it sounds like it would be a good gun for her since she doesnt shoot often but does want different callibers. means i wouldnt have to buy her 3 guns that will only get shot 3-4 times a year total. so if anyone knows what kind it is, price range, and if its avalible in a youth stock, that would be great. but if i can figure out the kind of gun i can find the rest. thanks!

savage and a couple other companies made some that were 20ga/22lr and 30-30 combos. never seen a 3 cal one though.

You're in for a shock. Drillings/vierlings and other combo guns of that kind are exceedingly expensive. you'd be better off buying three guns.

thats a bummer. maybe ill just have to find the number to the store where she saw it and see if the manager knows. it was a tractor supply type place but not a chain store. it was last winter she mentioned it but i havent had the money to look into it seriously till now. i think it was around $400 or so. it was all single shot. i would assume you put on whichever barrel you want and reload with a break barrel action. oh well. thanks for the insight. any more info is apriciated.

or a T/C Contender and buy multipler barrels...which of course you can only use 1 at a time

My guess is she isn't talking about something so esoteric as a fine German drilling... More likely something like the Rossi Tri-fecta.

Yeah, it was probably a Rossi.

H&R makes similar rifles, but in America. They would also be worth a look.

just talked to her about it, and thats the one. 22lr, .243, and 20 guage. great find .45guy. thankyou so much. christmas shopping just got easy. lol
