I've had a Gerber Legend for quite a few years, and it's been good to me. But the phillips head screwdriver on it leaves a bit to be desired; I work on cars quite a bit and it doesn't always fit and it can't handle much torque without flexing. I'd like a multi-tool that has a bit more range in the bits, and can handle a bit of a beating.

In your opinion, what multi-tool has the best bit driver?

I've got a Swiss Tool Spirit Plus, which has a bit driver with rachet, and a holder for seven assorted bits. It's pretty sturdy, and I can vary which bits I carry according to what I'm going to be working on.

I'm wondering the philips head you have, is it just dull?

I rebought a sharpmaker, and the directions say you can sharpen and reshape philips heads with it.

Leatherman

Leatherman multis have a few different bit kits to purchase to accomodate any size phillips, flat, hexhead, etc. They even make a screwdriver extender to add more range and some extra oomph.
