Hello all I have another quick question. I was looking at a muzzel brake for my 338 rum build and the barrel I have has a diamiter of .710 the muzzel brake I want is .812 but says its mad for rifles for a diamiter of .660-.812. The threads are 9/16-32 my question is can I just thread my barrel or does it need to be turned down? I have the proper tools to thread on the lathe but I wasn't sure about not turning down the barrel
