muzzle break ?

I got this muzzle brake in a box of ammo I bought and have no clue as to what it fits, who made it, etc. It has no #'s are writing on it at all, I'm not even sure it's all there. looks to be in near new condition. Any and all help would be great. I have more photos if that would help.

Looks to me like your brake fits either a Ruger Mini or an SKS.

By design it slips over the front sight and twists into place, the set screw is to keep it from working loose

I agree with newfall- also it looks like it wouldn't be too secure whatever you mounted it on and would eventually fly off.

It's actually a "muzzle brake", a common mistake.

i went to don3,s got it and tried it on my SKS and it fit like a glove! really no problem. that is what it is for. mystery solved.
