It was to nice out today to resist getting a few more shots of my Lew Horton 686+. This is the first snubby I've bought and it won't be my last. They are a bit addicting!
So far it's had a trigger job and I've got a set of Goncalo Alves retro combat round butt grips from Ahrends coming. The grips should be here in a couple weeks, can't wait to get them put on.
Also on the list of stuff to do is night sights. I'm leaning towards the Mepro lights as they make an adjustable pair for the 686.
The flames on the cylinders used to be etched in black but it started coming off due to my cleaning solvent. My solution was to add more solvent and a little rubbing to completely remove it. It's nice and suttle now and I like the way it turned out.
