Picked up an almost new 650 yesterday for a heck of a deal. This thing is a beast! Today I made short work out of ~500 .45 acp's. I need to tweak a few things here and there, but geez...this was worth every penny!

Warning! Warning!

Just be really really careful with it......

or before you know it you'll be plumb out of bullets and empty brass.

You're gonna luv it.

Congratulations on your upgrade. My bench turned red

I am genuinely happy for you. For years I salivated over a Dillon 650. But I decided against a progressive because it did not match my needs (or budget).

I had mostly RCBS equipment and a pair of Lee Pro-1000s until last year. Then I got a Lee Classic Turret and swapped out all my dies for Lees.

To each their own. I am glad you are happy. I am SURE glad I'm happy.

But where are the pictures?

No rain on this parade, please

I did not intend to be, but I have become a pretty big fan of Lee equipment, but isn't it considered rude to come into a guy's thread where he is sharing his joy about finally getting the press of his dreams and essentially telling him he made a big mistake?

Kind of like a guy getting a Ferrari he has been lusting for and someone coming in his house and telling him he should have gotten a Chevy pickup.

It's rude. It's incorrect (if he doesn't want to haul heavy loads, but does want a thrill ride). It's argumentative.

Lost Sheep,
Thanks for the support. I'm not one of those guys on the internet that let others bother me with their comments. Everyone has an opinion about what they like and what is important to them. I have some Lee products (Dies), mostly RCBS stuff and now this Dillon. Thanks again!

Lost Sheep,

I think everyone is just having a good time, sarcasm seems to get lost when you type and not speak....

Besides, everyone knows that GREEN is where it's at! :neener:

Personally I stick with what works... right now, that's a Lee single stage... it sucks loading 440 rounds of .45 ACP to go to the range with, but ohh well :p If I do get a progressive it will also be Red, but probably Hornady red, I like the half stepping ram to prevent Powder spillage :)

Congrats on the Dillon purchase! I really like the automated kits that are out for the Dillon progressives :)

EDIT: Realized I made very little sense... fixed to make more sense :D

Thanks guys! Again, I had no hard feelings earlier. When you guys get tired of seeing red and want something better send me a pm and I'll send ya Dillon's address. Hahaha!
