My C&R is on its way.. What do I need before it gets here?

My C&R is coming... Soon. ATF has processed the fee, so I could have it in 2-20 weeks.

Is there anything that is not in the stuff they send that I will need to be in complaince when it shows up (bound book?).

And where would be the best place to get said items if needed.

Right now I have 2 or 3 guns that can fall under C&R.. Yugo SKS, M1 Garand, H&R 949 (not sure, don't think it does).

My other stuff, AR's, newer 1911, Model 65 S&W, Marlin 60 does not have to go in my book, right?

You need a bound book. You can buy them form Brownells or make your own. All your gun transactions including non C&R firearms must go into the bound book, since you are type of FFL. Other than that you are fine. Hope you sent a copy of your application to your local CLEO?

I never heard of them doing that though it is possible.

Start collecting money and developing new sources of secret funds.
Also, draft a note to any and all dealers that accept C&Rs that you would like to be put on-file and receive all their adverts and newsletters. Make many copies, sign them, and send them with a signed copy of your license.

not ALL your gun purchases need to go in the bound book , only the one's purchased using your C&R . I keep my bound book for my C&R purchases and a separate personal log for anything else I purchase .

You're almost there. Modern firearms do not need to be logged. Any C&R's acquired while you are licensed need to be logged, whether purchased using your 03 or not. You don't need to log any that were owned prior to being licensed, but many of us do - you will need to log any prior owned that are disposed during this time.
