My child's keeper

Don't like the first one. I agree that we need a person and not a thing protecting the child. We constantly complain that the antis just don't get it and that a gun is a thing and the person is responsible for what is done with the thing. Let's not send the same message as they do.

Don't like the second (there's no such thing as "just in jest" on the internet).

I like the third one.

She does shoot in real life and does own that bag.

I agree on showing the parent more.

That "kid" is a lot older than you would think from the photos.

I like it Oleg, It's clearly a woman's (mothers) blouse.
Just darken the background and loose the extra mags and it'll be fine;)

The taticool holster and gun does look out of place on what looks like a trendy ladies jacket or blouse, but the strong contrast drives the point home. That precious little girl is safe because of mom's tacky accessory.

Here's my ms paint butchery of your work oleg:evil:
sorry:eek:

"That "kid" is a lot older than you would think from the photos."

Nevertheless, she looks underage. Why use a double-entendre on someone who admittedly looks so young?

Because I found the original comment silly and made fun of it. In any case, given the adverse reaction, I removed the image.

I didn't even realize there was a "bra-size" reference in that picture until I saw it posted (and even then I had to re-read it a few times). I'm a 28 year old male. Should I turn in my man card? Or are some people just extra perverted?

Dope

I don't like the white clothes, or the horizontal rig. It violates one of the three rules.

Its also not real obvious at first glance what is being said.

Dope,

I didn't get it, at first, either, and I'm 44. I guess some of us just don't go around with our minds in the gutter.

Keep your man card. You might need it to buy Viagra, one day.

+1. Hadn't thought even a second about anything else but "two .44 Desert Eagles", and I am willing to take a bet on it that even Oleg didn't mean it any other way. Of course, now everybody will also look at it that "other" way.

I guess that I am the only one who thought she was at least 21, she looks 24-25 to me...

As for the original one, the two magazines make it look odd, and the white on white makes it hard to understand whats going on.

I personally love the two Deagles ...

I like the idea. I think if it wasn't white on white and the kid was a little further off to the side it would be perfect.

My first thought was she had two desert eagle pistols when I read it. Then I thought there will be some people who will take it another way. Nothing really wrong with that in my mind. :)

For me, she does not look especially young. She is at an age where she could be 20 or 30, depending on the clothing and makeup she has on, and how much airbrushing goes on.

Oleg,
I think you're onto something using chat speak in your posters. It's a great way to involve an entirely different group than the usual suspects at the gun club.

"lolz u thot 1 wuz vctm!111"

i took the DE pic as you can't harm a girl with a pistol who's ready to defend herself and/or you can't find a better girl than one with pistols. but i thought she looked 13 too. I think with a different model, that line could work well.

That's probably because you're a gun person. I would think the target audience for a poster such as this one is someone who wouldn't understand the abbreviation. I'm usually a great fan of puns/double entendres, but not in this case, especially when the model can be perceived as underage. I agree with WheelGunMom in this case.

I think the first image would be perfect if just a little bit of shadow is placed in the background for contrast.

I didn't get the 44DE reference either. I thought Desert Eagle. My wife was all over it, though. She had to explain it to me. And no, I don't need to turn in my man card. I've got 8 kids, no need to prove I'm a man.

Hell, my first thought was that a pair of .44 Desert Eagles makes for an utterly horrible means for self defense, and would be liable to get the wrong person killed.

Yep, that was my first thought.

Guess I should turn in my man card. gfight.gif

Just out of curiosity - Why is that? Are they jammamatics? I don't know much about them, so I am not making a call here.
