I finally convinced a long time friend of mine to buy a gun. It was a big deal because he comes from a very 'anti' family.
Today i took him to the range for the first time to teach him how to use his new Hi-Point 9mm and he went nuts -:D . I had him buy some ammo on the way to the range and he reluctantly bought 100 rounds, while I had secretly packed 200 rounds in my own range bag along with my beretta. He shot all of his ammo and all of mine too and went to the range office to buy more! He loved my beretta and wants to buy a better handgun and fell in love with my AR-15.
It was gratifying to reach someone like that. After de-mystifying the grave danger that is preached by the liberal media he finally realized that a gun is just a tool and when used properly is quite safe and alot of fun.
Another victory for the good guys!

Way to go!

I know the feeling. My wife comes from an anti-gun family as well. Once I introduced her to shooting, she fell in love with it. Now she has her CCW permit and owns two pistols of her own.

If we can all convert just one or two people a year, imagine what can be accomplished!

One or two a year, good goal.

I recently converted a college friend of mine, and his mother from Oregon was so upset when she found out, he had me come talk to her to calm her down and let him back in the will. By the time we were done, she agreed to go to the range once with us, but it never happened.

Be vocal, no compromises.
