Your first S&W?

You think you are sick now?

I thought I had revolveritis (with accute pre-lock S&W syndrome) licked for a few years, but now I know now that I was just in remission. Now on my S&W wish list are a 3.5" Model 27, a 4" 629, and a 3" 686, and 4" skinny barrel Model 10. A 6" Model 19 or 66 would be nice too, though I could go for a 6" Taurus 66 like one that a stupidly traded away years ago.

See what I mean? :D

Nice gun, my sister carries one just like it. She's a natural shot with it, she can put 5 rounds onto a target the size of an apple at 7 yards. Enjoy!

Smiths tend to be a bit addicting. I keep telling myself I can stop any time but after impulse buying the Second Model .44 Hand Ejector I picked up a couple of days ago, I now have 24 of them.

Welcome to the club! Nice little .38 Special Bodyguard you've bought there. The knife's pretty decent too.

That's nice for a plastic gun.

But you still won't understand the S&W mystique until you own an all metal, pre-lock one!!!

It's just like that first snort of cocaine.:scrutiny: How much money do you have? Can you get some more? Most definitely search for the older ones. They're worth the price.

Congratulations. I bought my first one about 1980...81...something like that. I bought my last one for now a few weeks ago.

In between there have been dozen's of them.

I've tried the others. But always come back to S&W.

I owned 3 Smith's & was always looking for more. I bought a Ruger SP101 thinking it would cure me....now I am always looking for S&W's AND Rugers.!!!!

That's what I was thinking, you wait, you'll find one you decide you want later on and then, well, your pretty much in trouble.
