Well, I am sure that many of you remember me from asking for advice on what gun to get. Well, I settled on a Ruger 10/22, I know it might not be much to many people here because you all have this gun and many more. But, here is to my first gun! :)

P.S. More pic's to follow of range time :)

good for you man! there is no level of satisfaction like going and getting your first gun, or the second, or the third...:D

have fun man

Very nice 1st! You'll be able to learn alot from shooting it often, you'll be able to shoot alot because it's a 22lr and cheap to shoot and to top it all of, their cool too! Congrats! :D

Excellent, good to see that you came to a decision. You won't be disappointed. I second www.rimfirecentral.com  Be warned though, once the bug bites, it bites hard. :p

For future reference, that particular model you have is oftentimes referred as "walmart special".

Yes, took it to the range on Sunday. My mom and I were taking a firearms 1 class (lets you get your CCW) She hated guns before taking the class, and NOW wants to carry :what: I was shooting the 10/22 and I had a jam, I think I was trying to shoot too fast with it, is that possible? Well, I will soon post some pictures of my mom and me out there shooting :) Sadly I didn't get to shoot my .22 as much as I want to. The class started at Ben Avery Shooting Range in Arizona, and well yesterday it got up to like 115 or something like that. We started at noon, and we were done by 3ish, by then the heat was kinda getting to me, so I only shot 3 clips of .22. Anyway, keep your eyes open for the pics soon to come.

22rf's are bad about crudy ammo clean often to minimize jams and if possible dont use em for defense.if you have to use em for defense use premium grade target ammo tested in your gun to minimize misfires and jams.

and get a decent centerfire asap.
