Looking at some of the posts here got me to wander back to my very first gun. It was free; I got it from an uncle who got it from a priest that he had rewired his rectory for. Well my uncle being ONLY a BROWNING guy gave it to me because I needed a gun for my first deer hunting season. It's killed more deer and ruffed grouse over the years than you could shake a stick at. I'm just wondering if anyone else out there has any picts of their Ted Williams shotties!

nice ted williams,i like the different store branded ,sears, wards, shotguns diamonds in the rough.

Thanks Broken. I have 5 shotguns and out of them all, I have to say that if I could only have one, that's the "One" I would stay with! And go figure it was free! It is the smoothest and fastest action pump that I own. This gun is very accurate with slugs out to 100 yards and follow up shots hunting birds is a breeze. I've been pretty happy with it. It's kind of a "safe queen" now, but I think I'll dust it off this fall and get some field time with it for sentimental purposes!

Enjoy the shotgun.

I don't have a Ted Williams shotgun, but I do have an old Ted Williams ultralight fishing rod that my father gave me. I try to take it out once a year for Crappie.

My first firearm was mossberg 500. Those actions sure get slick after a few thousand rounds! I picked up a Benelli Nova for my duck hunting, but don't shoot it near as well as that old Mossberg. When that Mossberg goes on a hunt with me, it just feels like it's a part of me.

I've only shot a Ted Williams a few times, but I did like it. It was a smooth shotgun.

Don't be a jerk.. He's obviously talking about shotguns.
My first was a single shot .410. I shot maybe two doves with it. Ever.
I was not trying to be a jerk, I just never heard of a shotgun referred to as a shottie, SORRY OK !

I also have a Ted Williams shotgun. Does not see much field time anymore but still shoots great.

6x6pinz - I see your Ted Williams has the poly choke on it as well, but I couldn't help notice that your receiver kind of has a slight hump on it, where my gun seems to be more rounded; otherwise they look identical.

303tom - I don't think you were trying to be a jerk. I just know a lot of guys who refer to them as "shotties". Sorry for the confusion. :)
