Here is a limited edition Sig P226R (Gadsden), It's never been fired outside the factory and it's 1 of 1776 that was made to commemorate the tea party movement.

I've had my eye on this for some time and finally negotiated a price that both the seller and I could agree on. I sold my Saiga and my S&W but it was worth it to me.

The funny look on the finish is from the oil the factory put on it before shipping.

So, what do you think?

I like the smooth wood grips ... I like the overall shape ... nice gun. From what I hear they're awesome guns, etc.
On the other hand that gun is also the reason Sig will never get my money.

i like it. its got the custom writing on it but it doesnt seem ornate enough to be a safe queen. go out and shoot it!

Some sigs have gotten gaudy, this isn't one of them. It looks nice.

And you've got to shoot it. dont safe queen it.

I like it. Will you shoot it or is going to be a safe queen?

If I can find the time I should be at the range this Saturday to put a hundred rounds or so through it. :) Hopefully I can find an open carry BBQ or two to attend this summer so I can strap this baby on (in it's new suede lined leather holster I have coming) and give it some exposure.

This is intriguing. I own a few limited edition Benchmade knives but the thought of a limited edition firearm just doesn't trip my trigger.

Going "over the top" has always been risky and this pistol, I think, qualifies as over the top.

Cool gun! :)
