Congrats on converting a new shooter the look on her face says it all. I'm always glad to see more women getting involved in the sport.
GOOD JOB

Taking the GF this weekend too for her first time at the range.

Nice CCI box on the bench btw ;) they make for good ammo-holders

Well, my girl likes bikes and shooting too!.....and shopping :banghead:

But mine also loves shooting my AR, she always requests that while she is shooting that I load the next magazine so she doesn't have to wait......such high maintenance

Great job bringing a new shooter into the sport, shooter_24!

My wife liked shooting when she was my girlfriend......not so much anymore.

Mine is the exact opposite. When we were dating, she could take it or leave it. Now she wants to go to the range all the time. She got a Ruger M77 .243 for Christmas last year. Now she can't keep her paws off the .45 Colt at the range. I'm lovin it though.

Funny how that girlfriend wife conversion works with shooting and fishing isn't it?!? I'm in the same boat (or would it be 'at the same range'?) Lol. Gotten to the point that I'm going with or without her. Would rather she come with me but if she's gonna be that 'disinterested' I can either go by myself or find another friend (of either gender) that would enjoy some range time, or time on the water fishing.

In any case, congrats on a first timer having a blast!

Shes a lefty, right eye dominant. We are working on stance, needs improvement :)

This reminds me of the story about Pandora's box.

I think its ok for Pandora to touch some things but not others.

My experiences are mixed regarding Pandora touching fire weapons.

Pat M -- My wife liked shooting when she was my girlfriend......not so much anymore.

That's a really good sign! It means:

- that she trusts you to protect her
- that she does not feel she needs to take that job of protecting her away from you
- that she feels no need to protect herself from you
- that she doesn't plan to use a gun anytime soon for whatever reason.

I think she likes you. Still.

A very good sign.

You will probably live long and prosper.

Not so sure about some of these other guys whose wives/girlfriends are shooting though.

:D
