My Glock 17 just turned 3000!!!

Well, today at the el range-o my Glock 17 just reached the 3,000 round mark.

That's 3,000 trouble free bullets fired through this weapon.

ZERO malfunctions of any kind. I know this is not rare for Glocks, but to own a weapon with this kind of reliability that I can shoot well is a good feeling.

Helps me sleep well at night.

I have a Glock 19 with about 1,000 rounds through it an also have NEVER had any problems either. I do have two barrels however. The OEM barrel and an aftermarket Storm Lake. One twists right the other left.

I love Glocks, doesn't matter what number. Just bought a Glock 26 today.

I read a report where the guy put 170,000 rds thru his G17 with zero malfunctions and no cleaning. Looks like you have a way to go, enjoy your Glock.

My Glock 19 has jamed 4x in ~ 3K rounds

A guy I shoot with keeps track of his rounds and hit 14,000 through his G34 with no problems of any sort. My SA 1911 has been as good as I can ask. I don't remember the last jam of any sort and it has got a bunch through it (probably 20k in 3 years). I do have to case gauge rounds for the Springfield. Anything that doesn't case gauge gets run through a Glock, which eats anything. Most guns are pretty good if you take care of them.

Only about 1300 rounds through my G23. No problems what so ever. I doubt the 40 will last as long as the 9mm though.

Do you think it may be time for a detail stripping?

I, too, have a Glock 17 that just hit the 3,000 mark. No malfunctions or failures of any type, and it looks just as good as it did when it was new. I almost exclusively shoot my quality reloads through it. I have fed it just about every type and brand of ammo.

Zero problems.

I have had several Glock 9mms (17, 19 (2) and 26 (2)) over the years. None of them have ever given me a single problem. Neither have the Beretta 92FSs that I've owned.

To be fair, the XD-9 and CZ-75b that I owned were also flawless. I guess I've been blessed.
