My heart says CZ but my brain says Sig

My other, back-up P229/40, which is not shown, has 3400, flawless, rounds thru it, by me, as well, which I estimated already had aprox 800 rounds thru it by its previous owner.

Frame life on the aluminum SiGs is around 20-25,000 rounds so you have a long way to go. It took my wife about 8 years to wear out her first Sig, but her agency shoots a lot of rounds - about 2500-3000 per year.

Not sure that it will sway you, but I recently got a CZ 75B SA and it is the best shooting, most accurate gun I have. And I have lots. The trigger is sweet, Ghostholster Inc or Brownells have all the parts you would need. Sits low in the hand, the beavertail feels great. The ONLY detraction I can find is the slim profile slide can be hard to grip during a malfunction. Just need to retrain a little to grasp it properly.
