I have no real experience doing this but I thought it would be fun to see which 22 ammo that I had on hand my Kimber Conversion liked best.

I fired from a rest on a somewhat wobbly picnic table. My target was a box about 30 feet away. I fired one five round group with each type of ammo.

I'd like to know what I should do differently in the future. More rounds per group? Longer distance? etc.

This is a picture of my results.

As you can see I got pretty good groups from everything except the Remington (no surprise) and the Federal value pack.

After adjusting my sights I got a pretty good group from the Winchester.

Any suggestions for improving my test are welcome.

Anybody have similar results?

Potentially listing the grain of the projectile used could come in handy. For example--were you using 40 or 36 gr. Mini-Mags?

Gee, that's a good point. I have no idea. I'll have to check. :)
