I have no real experience doing this but I thought it would be fun to see which 22 ammo that I had on hand my Kimber Conversion liked best.
I fired from a rest on a somewhat wobbly picnic table. My target was a box about 30 feet away. I fired one five round group with each type of ammo.
I'd like to know what I should do differently in the future. More rounds per group? Longer distance? etc.
This is a picture of my results.
As you can see I got pretty good groups from everything except the Remington (no surprise) and the Federal value pack.
After adjusting my sights I got a pretty good group from the Winchester.
Any suggestions for improving my test are welcome.
Anybody have similar results?
