My kind of sign on the front door

Royal Range (former Regal Cinema) in Nashville.

There are posted on each entrance:



Caliber restriction on their indoor ranges? NOTHING larger that a 50 cal Browning. They have one for rent.

Age restrictions? Discretion of range officer on duty.

They are also building a Simuntions range. But that hurts too much to get my attention.

Is it just me who appreciates the irony that this range used to be a Regal Cinema...?

Just a quick note, the retail space is open for business.
The ranges will not be open for a couple of months

They have more .22rf on display for sale than I have ever seen anywhere. Next to the .22rf display, there is an MG-42 and an M-60 sitting on the counter to fondle.

There must be some kind of video game that has these weapons in it. Because, every time I go there, there are teens taking pictures of each other posing with the M-2 50 Cal and the infantry machine guns.

Similar verbiage on a sign on a restaurant in Rifle CO, "The Shooter's Grill." Except no reference to Range Officers and the like.

And the sign includes them there Revolvolators as well as them there Slideulators. Most of the waitstaff there open carry.

I've seen a number of those signs cropping up around here, mostly at gun shops though.

Maybe it is just because they are big and awesome, and who wouldn't want a belt fed machine gun? Especially one in .50 bmg?
