Tuesday of this week I was perusing Gunbroker,,,
I was looking for a .22 revolver for my friend to buy.

In that search I saw a Hawes, J. P. Sauer western revolver in .22 LR,,,
I already own a near twin of this revolver in .357 Magnum,,,
The only difference is the 22 has a 5 1/2" barrel,,,
The .357 Magnum has a 6 1/2" barrel.

I only paid $125.00 for the .357 Magnum six-shooter,,,
After shipping/transfer I'll get the .22 for $252.00.

The .357 is that good German work,,,
If this .22 is as fine a gun as the .357 is,,,
It's going to be a welcome addition to my cabinet.

Anyone who knows me at all realizes,,,
I am a sucker for matching rimfire/centerfire pairs,,,
As far as I can tell from the pictures the .22 is near identical,,,
The only difference I can see is the 1" barrel length and the stocks.

Close enough to make me a very happy camper indeed,,,
I won the auction at 2:04 local Oklahoma time,,,
The money order has been purchased,,,
I just need a copy of my LGS's FFL.

Now comes the difficult part,,,
Waiting for the dang thing to arrive.

Thanks red rick,,,

I was so very happy to accidentally stumble upon this gun,,,
I had no idea that there was a rimfire equivalent to my .357 mag.

As near as I can tell from the sellers picture,,,
They are built on the same frame.

The .357 is a very nicely manufactured handgun,,,
I'm hoping the .22 will be the same.

SWEET!
I'm a sucker for the looks of the SA revolvers. Shooting them is a completely different story though. I'm sure you'll like this as much as your .357 match up. You've got a couple of top notch wheelguns for very good prices. Congratulations on the new additions to the family.

Regards,
Gregory
