So my local club's 3 gun that they put on about 5 times a year has two classes for pistols, open and limited. I currently have a CZ75 semi compact(compact slide full frame it was my first pistol) with 5 mags. I don't have a holster or mag pouches for it. I have aquired a fair amount of 40 brass but don't have the bullets for it yet and have never reloaded for it. I have about 3000 115g 9mm berry's bullets

the two that I am looking at for this are the tactical sport and the SP-01. I have seen a couple of used loaded (5 mags and basepads, one even had mag holsters) for around 750-800 and the SP-01's bringing in about 450-500.

With all that being said it I currently shoot single stack in my USPSA league but would like a limited gun for 3 guns.

I really would like to get the tactical sport as I have heard it has a fantastic trigger and appears to duplicate the 1911 a bit more then the standard cz75, but the SP-01 seems more practical.

Really depends on if you want to use SA only or a DA/SA trigger. I found that the CZ 75 B SA seems to be the best bet. It has the SA trigger and is half the cost of the Tactical Sport. The only thing it does not have is the full length dust cover or a light rail. IF used also as a defensive pistol I would pick the SP01 with the light rail. Otherwise the 75 B SA is my choice. www.cz-usa.com/products_handguns.php

There is a EAA witness limited(full rail) that is tempting me at the local gun shop, used for $675 but I believe they would take $500 for it as it has been sitting there for almost a year.

Caliber is 38 super though and it only comes with one mag, I could get a 40sw and barrel for though.
