My local gunshop owner is some kind of evil genius!!

This morning (Saturday) I went shooting with a neighbor who recently returned from his fifth and final tour in Iraq/Afghanistan. My neighbor bought a Springfield XDM last week so wanted to shoot it. We had a great day shooting 250 flawless rounds (100 factory + 150 of my reloads) through his XDM, my Kimber, Ed Brown SFC and SIG P225. As I was driving my neighbor home, he asked if we could stop by my favorite gun shop to meet the owner that I'm always talking about. I wasn't there for five minutes before the owner put a NIB SIG P220 Carry Elite Dark in my hand knowing full well that I have an addiction to the P220 and knowing that I handed him $2,040 last week for an Ed Brown Special Forces! As I fondled it lovingly and asked "how much" ... $790 OTH was the reply!! That man's an evil genius. I already have five P220s but now find myself trying to justify another ... I think it's an addiction. But what's not to like with aluminum grips, SRT, adjustable combat night sights and a beavertail? My friend ended up buying a Savage Weather Warrior 116FCSS at a very good price too.

I shot a Desert Warrior the other day and it was sweet. I know, according to the internet they don't go bang. Weird.

Ed Brown and P220, you have fine taste my friend, the best.

I share your fondness for the SIG P220 ever since I had my first one, nicely disguised as a Browning BDA .45. An extremely accurate gun in SA, it could easily match groups with a Colt Gold Cup I also had at the time.
