I'm not a Vortex fan either. I bought it as a temporary optic with plans to put it on my daughters slug gun.

I'm actually impressed with it. It has great glass, like, crystal clear... the only minor negative I can say about it is that the illumination doesn't show up in bright daylight, but don't need it then anyways.

I have about $1600 in the gun now, my wife wont let me go any more at the moment lol. Well actually $2000 counting spare mags and ammo.
