This is the second revolver I've ever owned, and the first one that actually worked. The first was a taurus 3" .357, and though some people have luck with them, I will never buy a taurus again.
This is my Uberti 1873 Cattleman, single action army in .357 magnum. These are also available in the ubiquitous 45 long colt, but I don't handload so this is more powerful (not to mention cheaper and easier to find around here).
I'm in love, the ONLY 300 dollar gun I've ever touched that felt completely WORTH twice that.
