Just got it today. I will test it, clean and polish of the surface rust off hopefully this weekend. Bore is very smooth and reflective. Looks like it was used once a year for many years then suddenly forgotten about.

It looks like it'll clean up pretty nice.
Mind telling how much you paid for it? I'm curious because there's one shop around here that has one that looks similar to that one that's going for 49 dollars and I'm debating whether I want to get it or not

Nice gun Blue Brick,I left a post on your other thread about the bolt retaining screw. For some reason it is not showing on the reply and bumping the post up:confused: but it is there when I click on it.Enjoy your new shotgun.

My info says they were made from 1953-55, in 12 and 16 ga. The adjustable choke was stock from the factory. Have fun with it.

cleardiddion, $49 ! That would definately be in my closet today. The adjustable choke is worth that much.

I am sad to report that I will be returning it to the seller. I have a 30 day warranty. The shell carrier jams tightly into the frame. I guess thats to be expected when a shot gun is over 50 years old.
