picked up my new Savage 10FP LE2B today.

Leupold rings and base
SA 4-14 3rd Generation Scope, Illum mil-dot reticle.--may trade it back on a Nikon Monarch Illum reticle, not sure yet.

hopefully I'll get it zeroed this weekend.

excuse the crappy pics, I probably need to buy a better digi-cam instead of another gun. ;)

Nice looking rifle. I told ya that the guys at Franklin Gun would treat you right. Now we have to see if it and its' shooter can outdo me and my 700P. :D

I'm thinking of going to the range sometime tomorrow (Friday), to check out my new Garand and to zero the ACOG reflex sight I picked up for my AK. If you find that work is slow and you have some time to slack off, give me a call.

Oh yeah, the ACOG. I bought it at Middle TN Guns & Ammo, near the Saturn plant in Smyrna. They specialize in AR's, particularly Bushmasters. One of these days soon, we'll have to get together and head over there. I may take my CETME and see if they trade me for a Norinco NHM-91 they have on the shelf. Also, we need to plan a trip to Lightfighter.

I'm probably gonna head to the TWRA range sometime on saturday to try this baby out.

funny you mention lightfighter, I was up at Ft Campbell this Wednesday, I was gonna go by there, but I ended up working late on base, and by the time I got done I was just ready to go home.

gonna get ya another AK huh? sounds like a good investment to me!

I you don't mind me asking, what did you pay for the base rifle? I am seriously considering getting that exact model.
