"slightly modified" huh? -Is that what you told the wife? ;)

Aluminum frame?

Looks great.

I have a few questions though:

1) External extractor? Colt?

2)How does it shoot?

3)Why did you choose to use a bobtailed commander for a steel plate gun vs. a 5" government or even a long slide? Is that just what you had available?

Thanks,
Jason

Jason,

Yes, external extractor. Shoots tiny groups at 15 yards, as it was designed to do. It has three ports that help reduce muzzleflip. With the Halo sight it is quick to come onto target with both eyes open.

I chose the bobtail design because by exchanging a standard style upper ...I had a great gun for CCW. Making it ideal ~ as I'm using the same controls and have excellent retained muscle memory with a gun that I both can compete with and CCW.

That makes sense. The thing that is confusing me though is the slide having an external extractor. Is that a Colt frame with an aftermarket slide?
