I recently sold my keltec 9mm 3000 and my bushmaster carbon 15 in 22 long rifle to get a new ar-50. It's bran new out of the box never been fired. Tomorrow I am going to to test fire it. This is going to be awesome. :D
I'll post some pictures of me firing it tommorow :neener: .

I know that is a very cheap scope on it but it is currently all that I can afford. If any of you can reccomend a decent scope under a 100 bucks for a 50 bmg....................

Ummmmmmmmm.....

Mr. Loud Guns

I am not an expert on the subject, but that gun looks really "light" for a .50 caliber. How much does it weigh, who made it, etc. Don't get me wrong I am not dissing your gun, I actually rather jealous. I would just like some more info.

A good scope for a .50cal <$100.00, hummmmm...

Good Luck

hmmm on closer inspection it does look a little small... He has a better picture in another thread though, i believe.

To start off it wieghs about 30 pounds, it is NOT an airsoft and it is made by armalite. It is touching the ground that is why it doesn't look heavy. I will get some better pictures tommorow.

Also it would not be in any other thread considering that it is new. It is my SECOND 50 cal BMG

It might just be the lighting or picture angle but I find it hard to believe the object in that photo is the same as this...

odd... thats a completely different rifle than the one he's holding, Omni. his stock looks like it will colapse after one .50 BMG round goes through it, and it looks like the scope could use another ring. Kel-Tec 9mm is called a P11 or the folding 9mm rifle is called a Sub 2000. to my knowledge, Kel-Tec doesn't have a 3000.

I'm not usually one to call someone out, and hate to sound mean but I smell some BS. Your sig line before said you had a custom .50 bmg, then changed to just and AR-50, and now says you have a Serbu and a AR-50. http://www.thehighroad.org/showthread.php?t=146412 IDK what the rifle is in that thread you posted, but it's not a Serbu or AR-50. The rifle you are holding in this post is nowhere near big enough to be an AR-50 either, and it seems to be missing the AR style pistol grip and built in scope mount that the AR-50 has. While I'm at it I might as well mention that Remington doesn't make the PSS in .30-06 like claimed in your sig as well.

Yea man lie that shtuff on a clean floor and take a pic with the flash! It looks NICE. I also want to see the stock better, there's shadows I can't tell what's what. Hook us up man!

Sorry guys that is a really bad picture. My remington pss when i bought it it had been rechambered in 30-06. Why my serbu is custom is because the previous owner had purchased it with the optional 36 inch barrel and had put a tripod on it (it is actually very helpful in shooting. Also you are right it is sub 2000 my mistake. My scope is a really really cheap bsa that I put on it until I can get something much more decent. I am 6 foot 1 so that is probably why it looks alittle small.

well the ar50 is 59" so that is 5 feet and you said it's resting on the floor, and your 6 feet. the trigger is wrong and not even close to real. and what is that indent in the stock in front of the trigger guard. ar50 is straight across the bottom from the trigger guard out to the end of the stock. hmmmm. also the folding 9mm sub 2000 has to be registered as a handgun and 14 year olds can't own handguns.

if you lie you cheat, and if you cheat you steal, and if you steal, i aint got nothin for your ass.

I think he might be leaning, against a wall, at an angle. Also, I have to believe that someone going to the trouble of posting a picture of a new rifle would have that rifle... And if they were going to lie they'd lie and say their ar50 airsoft rifle was the real thing, not some other rifle...

Also, I respect your opinion, value it as such, but I think that if you lie, you lie. If you cheat, you cheat. etc.

1"Hello new neighbor, I'm Jim the plumber, how do you do?"
2"Hi, I'm tom, a constructive sociologist."
1"What's that?"
2"Let me show you" "I see you have a dog-house, so I presume you have a dog."
1"Right."
2"And as you have a dog I presume you have children."
1"Yup."
2"And as you have children I presume you have a wife."
1"Yea."
2"And as you have a wife I conclude that you are heterosexual."
1"Wow, that's amazing, right on all counts!"
2"Yes indeed, my logic is flawless."
(Later that day)
1"Hey Jim, you meet the new neighbor? He is a constructive sociologist."
3"What's that?"
1"Let me show you. Do you have a doghouse?"
3"Nope."

I'd like to give him the benefit of the doubt...but it certainly doesn't look good. Compared to the AR50 pic straight from the Armalite website...overall "petite" look, weird trigger/triggerguard, wrong grip, odd indent in front of the triggerguard. Then again I remember being 14 (26 years ago) and anxious to impress.

As stated above, the easiest way to resolve this is to get a good pic posted.

Assuming this is an AR...I wouldn't shoot it with that scope. Looks like a .22 rimfire scope...which should last approximately 1 shot.

Guy's I have the problem solved - I need a new camera the following picture I layed it across my bed. This is with all the lights in my room on and the flash. I guess buying an 80 dollar camera 2 years ago wasn't avery good idea

70ki9i.gif

and yes that is a 22 rimfire scope I hope it lasts long enough for a couple shots, on my other 50 bmg I have a much better scope. I don't have enough money for a good one right now.

edit: I am not anxious to impress, personally I could care less what you guys think about my new rifle. However I am curious to what this rifle is if it is not an armalite? Also my dad has a carry liscense.

Let's wait for tomorrow when you can get a relatively decent picture. The sun can be your friend. :)

Personally, I still say it looks remarkably like a genuine AR-50. All the talk about lying, cheating, etc. should stop until better proof is available.

Thanks for the better picture.

You changed the scope and mount in this one, huh? What scope is this?

Also, any idea why the edges of the rifle are all pixelated but other straight lines in the picutre aren't? That's odd...I just have an interest in photography and wouldn't want my pics to turn out like that. Just want to learn from others! :)

That picture is definately not "better". All problems, I think are related to the camera. Ps the edge of my bed is pixely as well  Scope is the same you can just see it better.

Really? That's odd. The scope in the latest picture has a large objective bell while the first one is a straight tube. Plus this mount is as shown on the ARMLT website. The one in your first pic is a single mount.

Just seeing how deep the hole is
