If you think AKs are unrefined compared to ARs, try out a VEPR. The finish is amazing and the trigger feels like a lightened Garand trigger, very smooth. Here are some chrono results from my VEPR K 7.62x39 with Wolf 122gr fmj ammo:

The AK made by HK generally speaking.

I love mine and I have a case or four through it. Heavy but extremely well built, nice trigger, nice stock feel etc.
