Mrs. HABU and I were at the Sportsman's Whorehouse yesterday looking for goodies for HABU Jr. and ran across the wife of a friend who had this pistol. She was at the gun counter putting a rifle on lay away for him. She had him on the phone to make sure she got the right rifle. She saw us and said "hey, the HABU's are here, talk to HABU."
Several months ago when he got this pistol I was drooling all over it and gave him a standing offer for it if he ever wanted to sell it.
When his wife handed me the phone, the first thing I said was "my offer still stands." He says, "you buy me that rifle and the handgun is yours."
You could have knocked me over with a feather! I didn't say it out loud, but inside I was all WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!
It has a 5" barrel, about 95%, made in '54, an exceptionally sweet trigger and came with a rug and about 90 rounds of ammo. Definitely the score of the year!
Picture quality sucks, but you get the idea.
