Ok in another 17 thread I said I'd share pics of my 17. I do want to show it off though. I also wanted to show you can still be a classic and tactical, at the same time with my savage 93 r17 classic thumbhole model.
I really love my contraption I've put together and it shoots really well. The polish blueing and classic stock that it wheres suckers me into it.

It where's a 3-12×40 Bushnell ar scope, good old fasion military style sling, and a chineese stock pouch. (For extra ammo).
Ive hunted and target shot with it both.
I don't have any targets to show, mabey I can poke some paper this weekend and get a pic.

Yes, very nice indeed. I have one of the newer 93r17s and it is probably my most accurate and fun to shoot rifle. If I do my part the rounds just keep landing on top of each other and it is actually quite the hog hunter when I place a round behind the hogs ear. Puts them to sleep right away. Very cool gun and a must have for all shooters I would say.
