Just received my grips last week from Marschalgrips.com, did a bit of polishing on the slide with some Mothers Mag Polish, and this is what I ended up with. To me, it looks like a completely modernized gun. If any of you have some unique Toks, share them here.

VERY nice! Beautiful. I've been considering getting some Marschal grips for my Tokarev. You've got a very handsome gun there.

Incidentally, I think the hump may cause you some problems, though. The Tokarev's grip angle is much less severe than a 1911, and the primary purpose of the hump on the 1911 is to raise the natural point of the gun up. The Tokarev's recoil is normally very well-balanced with its grip angle, with the gun settling right back on target after a shot. You may find it tends to settle high now.

Nice job!
I'm in the process of restoring a 1941 TT-33. Found everything but a firing pin. You have any contacts for one?

That's cool. I have two M57s...one is in near mint condition and the other is a little worn. Been thinking about getting the wraparound from Marschal for a while now. The very vertical grip of the Tok design causes the pistols to naturally point downward in my hands. I'm also suprised that as long as the cartridge is, the grip is kind of small front-to-back. I would think the wraparound design with the hump on the back would improve the natural point of aim and fill the hand a bit better.

Here's my M57s:

Those are issue holsters, if I'm not mistaken, just some of them don't look like they saw extensive service in WWII, but all the ones I have seen do. I think the dark one is supposedly?? a parade holster.

As Shadow 7D said, they are issue holsters. I bought the near mint M57 from J&G in person and it came with the tan holster. The slightly worn M57 I bought from a private seller in a face to face transaction. He pulled out the holster and I was thinking wow...that is pretty cool and in near mint condition. I have also seen white M57 holsters.

Here's a cool pic of some M57s in the crate with dark and light holsters:

Wow, quite impressive condition for issue holsters. Love the pic. I would be like a kid on Christmas morning if I saw that in front of me.

Wow, looks nice. I had a Norc 213 several years ago that I polished out a bit and reblued. Unfortuantely this was more than ten years ago and I sold it shortly thereafter.

I picked up a 52 made tok at Cabelas last weekend. It was converted to 9mm by the previous owner. It shoots reliably but isn't the most accurate thing I have. Could be because I haven't gotten used to the grip angle yet.

Dang those pic's look nice ! TOK Envy!
Dentite - my wife wants me to trade you a Holster- ha ha
(at least mine came with 10 boxes of S&B @ $6 a box, bought it last month)
