Actually I have an Ithaca Ultra light 20 ga 3" Stake out which I put a Deer Slayer barrel on and a nice short walnut butt stock, I kept the pistol grip and the foreend still has the hand strap. Being it has PG 37 Ul in the serial prefix (it was an $5 tranfer tax gun before I bought it-sans 14" barrel) I could, if I lived in a free state re register the thing with a short barrel. I think I could get a real short barrel going on pretty easy on this thing too. But once again I don't think you can hit much past 6 feet reliably if you don't raise the barrel up to eye level, at least, and a pistol grip only wouldn't be good for that!
