So there's a website called friendster..

For a picture of myself, I of course picked the best representation of myself.. a picture of my Steyr M40...

And friendster deleted it ... :cuss: :banghead:

How a picture of a gun (is a threat to someone is just beyond me..)

#1) It's an inanimate object
#2) It's a PICTURE of an inanimate object

I think the boogieman was a bit scarier... So don't expect me to be using friendster anymore.. I just don't use anti-RKBA websites.. no need to when you have TFL/THR with which you can PM people with...

I'm not sure that friendster is actually anti-gun. Their photo policy says they also don't allow pets, children, cartoons, artwork, etc. They don't want you to put up symbols you like, gun related or anti-gun, they just want a picture of you.

Why not post a picture of yourself holding the Steyr? From what Black Majik said, sounds like that'd pass muster.

(Incidentally, on the community site I help run, we don't have any policy about "user photos" other than I asked somebody to take down a porn image once. Most people put up a pic of themselves of one sort or another, but my wife put up a picture of a cat, and other members have put up abstract artwork or some such. If someone put up a picture of a Steyr, or any other gun, I wouldn't think twice about it.)

its the wussy mentality that has permeated much of society.
how frustrated do you think i was when the boss said that the empty shotgun shells i have perforated with my .22 are "not allowed" on company property? or that the spent bullets i've picked up at the range are "inappropiate" and "unprofessional"?
the sissy tried to push the blame off on others saying it was someone else who had a phobia of guns and was thus scared because of what i'd brought in. i told him "An irrational fear of an inanimate object, thats what it is."

that sissy arse wench!

but since he didnt say anything about the various paper target i've tacked to my cubicle wall i havent taken those down.

Are you sure Friendster Deleted it on purpose? Friendsters software is “beta†and prone to bugs. I have logged in and ended up in other peoples accounts, been told I have a message when I don’t, the software is buggy. Try again and then email them about it.
