My vision quest.....

I recently went on a vision quest* seeking knowledge from my elders and I was visited by the Brown Bear Spirit.

Brown Bear spoke to of me their biggest fear. They spoke of a strong force that causes death and destruction wherever it lies. It is a thing that I’ve heard legend of and it’s definition wasn’t really clear until I asked Brown Bear directly.


I said Great Bear Spirit, what is it that you fear the most?


Brown Bear spirit took a deep breath and kept changing form from one Bear to another until finally they moaned and grunted the true identity of the biggest fear; the thing that all the Bear World fears most over anything in the living or dead realms.


“.270 Winchester” moaned the bear.

On that subject, I just found these nice, century-old prism binoculars at an outdoor antique show on Sunday. Glass is still clear and only $30!
