A lot goes into producing a decent video; I've looked into making videos before and doing it well requires resources I don't have and can't afford... and I wouldn't want to do bad videos. I do have a Patreon account linked to my blog, but it doesn't bring in much as yet.
MTP,
This is my opinion and I wouldn't blame you for disregarding it outright. But may I suggest a change in your paradigm. J.Lo (pick your modern day internet influencer and insert name here) doesn't produce their own YouTube videos and neither should you. You both have a talents that don't include producing a video. But there are countless people that poses the talent to produce a video. It is a cost but one your talent can easily justify. Basically, there is some producer out there that could make money off of your talents while you at least document/preserve your talents. Hopefully making something off of the effort as well and determining the methods to make it work for you.
Your talent needs to be showcased before we lose them to eternity. Sorry, that kind of sounds very depressing but with the recent loss of Art, Old Fuff, James K, Bill Goforth and the like, what we currently know is in danger of being lost forever.
You seem to be a normal person like the rest of us and I suspect that you may not consider your talent in the same light as a famous nationally known name. But I personally think preserving a talent like yours is more important. I'm pretty sure our great grand kids will be able to easily find kitten videos to rot their brains on in the year 2075. It would be nice if some of those kids could actually stumble on one of your videos.
I actually hope you are in your 20's and I haven't offended you by associating you with the above list. But I suspect, by your talent, you are significantly more, shall we say, Mature than your 20's.
I have no idea how to find a producer like I describe. If it were me, I'd call/contact somebody famous and ask them how to find someone. Maybe a Larry Potterfield or the like. You never know where things end up. Even so, I have always been amazed at how helpful strangers can be if you start the conversation with "I need an expert opinion and I couldn't think of a better source". Most often the person I first ask cant help but they direct me to someone who can. I remember using this tactic in letters using USPS back in the early 80's. I'm old and flattery just doesn't seem to fade away with time.
If nothing else, I hope to see more of your work here. Thanks.
