Around the time I was 12 or 13, year 1999 or 2000 I acquired a single shot 410. Not knowing what make or anything I am left with faded memories of this thing, wondering if the community of THR could lend a helping hand to figure this one out! From what I can remember, it would fold completely in half as if to be hung in a trench coat. Pretty much hollow plastic stock, everything was plastic or synthetic except barrel, hammer, trigger, etc. It couldn't have been over 42'' full length. Oh and it didn't eject the shells when broke down, had to pull them out. I know this is a long shot and I pretty much just rambled a bunch of stuff together! I have googled and googled an haven't seen anything that looks like what I had. Thanks in advance everyone.

lvalmont, looked sorta like that except it didn't have a pistol like grip and the stock was more hollow I believe. It was light as a feather :)

H&R made a folding 410 single shot as did Beretta and several other European makers. The H7R would of had a blued or case color receiver while most the the imports gad silver receivers. Seems to me the H&R was offered in Tenite.

I'm thinking it was the Garcia Bronco 410, I am not 100% sure but it looks just like it! It kicked like a mule.

Reminds me of the old single shot .410 I started on about that age. No idea what it was, either. That lousy thing turned me off to shotguns for years. I never scored a single hit. I always tell people not to start their kids with .410's, particularly not single shots. They just don't have the pattern and spread compared to larger calibers like the 20 gauge, and the guns themselves are usually low-quality in comparison. They also tend to be excessively light and have horrible recoil. The age of the .410 has passed. 28 gauge is the new minimum.
