Anybody have any thoughts on one of these? I can buy a new one for about $300.00. Mainly looking as a pocket gun, any info would be nice! Thanks

I have the Guardian .32 and really like it. From everything I have read on various forums the .380 seems to be equally wel received. You might want to go to www.naaminis.com and post your question over there as well. I'm sure that you will get a good response. By the way, $300 new is a great price. Mike

Its a Great pocket gun if you use it for carry you might want to look at an RJ Hedley pocket holster. $300 for a 380 Guardian is a steal ,mine cost $449.00 but thats in the Prk.:)

WOW

I as just looking yesterday, and my local shop is asking $375 for a .32, and $415 for a .380, so, I would say that prie is more than fair.

$300 is a steal for a .380. I paid $359 for mine and I like it very much, would do it again even if it were a little higher in price, but not over $400.

If at all possible, shoot one first since some folks find it very harsh and painful. I don't find it punishing at all, so I think hand structure makes a big difference in how it feels. I know shooting one is going to be difficult since there aren't a lot out there and probably no range carries one for rent.

They are also heavier than a Guardian .32, so if you find a .32 to shoot, don't think you now know how the .380 will feel, they are, for all comparison purposes, completely different guns.

Do a search on "Guardian .380" (with and without the decimal point) here in Autopistols and you will find more opinions on it.

Thanks

Thanks for all the replies. I am able to shoot the gun before I buy, which I will do. Recoil is probably not a problem ( I hope) beem shooting +p in my taurus titanium snubbie and .45acp in a Kimber ultra carry for over a year. My first choice was a Kahr pm9 but this gun is a little cheaper, gonna be used mostly as a pocket gun, and it is made by Kahr for NAA. So I guess I have to get it and save for couple of months and order the Kahr. Yeah that's the ticket, just don't tell the wife my plans! She has a p32 for carry and doesn't understand why I need all of these different carry guns. I tell her it's like her purses a different one for every occasion!!!!:neener:

I have a Guardian in 380 that I had NAA put Novak night sights on. It works great. I am currently carrying a Kahr PM9, but the NAA 380 is still a good small carry pistol. Watch-Six

I've had one for a few months. I think I paid somewhere close to $400, tax included. I like mine. Just can't stand to shoot it very much. The first time out to the range, I shot 100 rounds (I wanted to shoot the enitre 200 recommended break-in) before I quit and my hand was sore for a couple of days afterwards. The recoil isn't that bad, the problem is that the butt of the gun gets driven directly into the middle of my palm. Do that enough and it becomes uncomfortable. Now I had a jam or two close to the end of this marathon session - probably due to getting really dirty. Next on my list, I want to send mine in to have the gutter snipe custom work done. Other sight options are available, but you have to remember that this thing is not going to be match quality.

Thanks

Thanks again for all the info. I picked up the little darling this evening. Looks great and seems to be very good quality. Iam going to the nascar race this weekend so my range report will have to wait til next week. Seems a littlle bit heavy for its size but I have been pocket toting a bersa .380 so I think I can manage. By the way I did get it for $300.00 tax and all so I'll let you guys know if it was worth the $. My dealer said to try it out and if I don't like it he would find me something else. Thanks again for all the great info.
