This calls for a make-your-own-caption contest. Who wants to start?

That's a cool picture, but since the iPod is about the opposite of the Kalashnikov in terms of reliability, you won't see me with one of those damned things--seems like all of my friends have gone through at least three.

That's not a woman. And good on him.

Would that be a coastal country, or is the distance from the sea what makes the shells valuable? And are those wrist-bands iron or lead or what?

And the handle sure does last a long time then, good plastic that. Or is it that WW2 stuff, can't remember the name, ends in 'ite'?

"Violence in the Darfur region was finally brought to an end when Apple began to drop millions of their Ipod MP3 players into the waring countries' borders. The Ipods were pre-programmed with various messages and songs from such peace-advocates as Bono (from U2) and Elton John that were meant to soothe and stop the nations from their needless fighting.

In a totally unrelated incident, the tribes in that region have joined forces and begun to attack Western settlements in various African countries...."

That's a pretty cool picture. I've never seen a man wear one of those lip-disc things, though...

I've been getting too many AK mags...because I'm noticing that the mag in that rifle isn't quite like any other I've seen. It's got no protruding back rib, but doesn't look like a Chinese mag. And it has two stamped lines at the bottom (like a Yugo mag), rather than the three that most standard mags have.

    Ammo

So, presumably, this guy shoots this thing?

    Which implies an ammo supply.

    Local trading post?

    Mobile gunsmith?

That would be Bakelite - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bakelite
Deemed the "world's first synthetic plastic" as opposed to "natural plastics"?!?
I remember seeing tupperware-like containers made of it when I was a kid in Africa.
