NC Star Speedloader damaging casing

I used my Speedloader with stripper clips for the first time. I noticed some of the rounds that were in contact wth the plunger had dents in them. A picture is attached. Is this common? I'm a bit concerned about these rounds I'm my AR?
Am I doing something wrong or is this a sign of a bad Speedloader ?

Possibly the reloader, but don't sweat the dents, they'll blow out when the cartridge is fired.

Probably the speed loader. Your first clue it was bad should have been the NCStar label on the box...
