Anyone know what NCIS is currently issuing its new agents? I have a friend who just got the nod, and he was curious what he would be issued.

Yes - the P226 is a traditional DA/SA...no external safety. The P228 is the same way. Just FYI, the P228 is an official military pistol, designated the M11 (just like the Beretta 92 is the M9).
