NcStar Brand scope any good?

In my quest for a new scope for my target rifle I have come across a brand that I have never heard of. NcStar is a new brand picked up by The Sportsman's Guide catalogs and I wanted to know your thoughts on it? Has anyone had experience with this brand? Tested its limits etc? I talked to one of the customer serivce reps at the 800 number and in his infinite wisdom was able to tell me really nothing except for the return rate on the particular scope I am thinking about getting. Out of around 500 sold, 18 have been returned. Granted that is a really good return rate, people tend to not return stuff through mail order. Please let me know what you think. Bullet: yeah, I bought one of those from SG. I thought, what the heck, it's only $34, or whatever it was, what have I got to lose?

Well, about $34, I guess. Dot is very small, and very faint. And, yeah, I didn't return it. Want mine?
