Neal Knox -- Condition Not Good

As I found this thread I was listening to Eric Clapton's version of Somewhere Over the Rainbow.

Hopefully no explaination is needed as I just can't find the words to express my feelings for Mr Knox.

What can I say except thank you Mr. Knox for all that you have done to protect our rights. Go easy sir, my thoughts are with you.

This is truly sad news. Neal Know has done more to protect our Second Amendment rights than any one person I can think of. I met him and shook his hand at the 1998 NRA convention after seeing his disgraceful treatment at the hands of the "Winning Team."

The best way we can honor his memory is to be as tough a fighter as he's been.

This is terrible news. Neal - unlike the leadership of the NRA - understands that there must be a line in the sand with respect to the 2nd Amendment. He will be missed.

Thanks

Thank you all for your kind words and prayers.

Dad went quietly early this morning surrounded by loved ones.

I have posted a message from Dad on this forum.

Memorial information is posted on NealKnox.com

Jeff Knox

Jeff .... my condolences to you and the rest of the family. I am glad in one sense this was not too prolongued - for Neal himself and you all.... seeing as how inevitable it was.

Take strength from the huge legacy he leaves behind - countless people who knew him or simply knew of him and his work. He will be immortal in the annals of RKBA for a very, very long time.

Our thanks are due for all he did.

RIP Neal

Welcome Aboardâ„¢ JeffKnox.
Our heartfelt condolences to you and your family.
Neal will be greatly missed but his legacy shall never die.

I'll play Clapton's "Over The Rainbow" once again for him, as we all shed a tear or two.
